
Our Team
Alhambra is an entirely undergraduate-student-run pro bono organization. Our team’s leadership comes from a variety of academic backgrounds, ranging from STEM to the humanities. We seek to apply our shared backgrounds in the liberal arts to solve the most pressing challenges in our local community.
Alhambra was founded in 2017 by Nikhil Palanki ’20. Founding members include Robert Dulin ’19, Benton Leary ’20, Jack Melnick ’19, Justin Kugel ’20, and Rehaan Vij ’18.

Leadership

Managing Director
Jackson Fielding (’27) is a junior from Scarsdale, New York. He is majoring in Mathematics and Economics. He has worked as a strategist on the Greylock WORKS and Williamstown Theatre Festival accounts. He has also co-led the BAHEC (Berkshire Area Health Education Center) and Zilkha Center accounts. Outside of Alhambra, he sings in the concert choir and chamber choir, is the treasurer and assistant music director in the Williams Octet, and is a teaching assistant with the math department. Jackson has worked as an intern for the Incubate Policy Lab.

Managing Director
Harlan Warnsman (’27) is a junior from Glenview, IL. He has worked as a strategist on the Crust and Special Olympics accounts. He has also co-led the Tasha Yoga and Tunnel City Coffee accounts. On campus, he is a Junior Advisor, a campus tour guide, an External Relations Assistant at the ‘68 Center for Career Exploration, and a member of the Club Soccer team. Harlan has worked as an intern for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, The Tournament (TBT/TST), and State Senator Paul Mark’s Office.

Alex Choi (’26) is a junior from Colorado Springs, Colorado, double-majoring in Political Economy and Mathematics. Outside of Alhambra, he is an advising fellow for Matriculate, a member of the Northern Tier Passenger Rail Restoration project, and plays on the club badminton team.

Margaret Huelin (’26) is a senior from Farmington, Connecticut, majoring in Psychology. Prior to joining the board, she was a strategist on the Zilkha Center account. Last spring, she co-led the Tunnel City Coffee account. On campus, she is a goalkeeper for the Williams Women’s Soccer team and member of the Williams Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

Rem Johannknecht (’26) is a senior from Chicago, double-majoring in Economics and Chinese. He joined Alhambra in his first semester, working on the 18 Degrees and Zilkha Center accounts. As a partner, Rem co-led the Berkshire Eagle account. Outside of Alhambra, Rem is the Captain of Williams Club Sailing, a Williams Global Scholar, a Chinese language TA, and an admissions tour guide.

Kathryn Ramsamooj (’26) is a senior, double majoring in Political Science and German. She joined the board in the Spring of 2023, having worked as a strategist on the Generation Conscious and Full Steam Forward accounts. Outside of Alhambra, Kathryn is a drummer of Williams’s studio and involved in the Black Student Union, Debate, and Women in PSCI. She enjoys hiking across the Berkshires and working with children as a program assistant at Williamstown Rural Lands.

Sam Wexler (’26) is a senior from Westfield, New Jersey, studying Computer Science and Economics. He joined the board his sophomore spring and has since led accounts for Pixeum and Louison House. Outside of Alhambra, Sam is a TA for the Computer Science department, a First-Year Outreach Coordinator for WCJA, and a member of Williams Insight (the College’s financial publication). In his free time, he enjoys skiing and listening to French music.

Anna Halfman (’27) is a junior from Massachusetts, double-majoring in Economics and Art History. She has worked as a strategist on the Arkansas Asset Builders, Pixeum, and Berkshire Eagle accounts. She has also co-led the BAHEC (Berkshire Area Health Education Center) account. On campus, she is a member of the Williams Investment Group, Women in Business, and the Student Choreographer’s Coalition. Anna has worked as an intern for the Interlochen Center for the Arts, Classical Uprising, and Urbanity Dance.

Matthew Chin (’28) is a sophomore from New York City, pursuing a double-major in Economics and Mathematics. He joined Alhambra in the fall of 2024 and served as a strategist on The Berkshire Eagle and Tourists accounts. On campus, he is a teaching assistant for the math department, a board member of the Williams Consulting Club, and a writer for the Williams Record. In his free time, he enjoys DJing, playing Catan, and biking.

Alex Farman-Farmaian (’28) is a sophomore from New York, New York. Prior to joining the board, he was a strategist on the Berkshire Eagle Account. Last spring, he co-led the Tourist account. On campus, he is a member of the Williams Men’s Crew team. Alex has worked as an intern for Patriot Polling and Walker & Dunlop.

Christopher Hughes (’28) is a sophomore from Seattle, Washington intending a major in economics. He co-led the Berkshire Center for Justice account in Spring 2025 and worked on the CRUST account in Fall 2024. Outside of Alhambra, Christopher is a news editor with The Williams Record and enjoys practicing improv comedy with Treestyle. Beyond Williams, Christopher enjoys running and photography.

Isabel Marks (’28) is a sophomore from New York City, majoring in Political Science. She joined Alhambra in 2025, and has worked as a strategist for the Berkshire Center for Justice. Outside of Alhambra, she is a member of the WCJA board, a WCFM DJ, and a writer for The Haybale. Isabel has worked as a policy intern for various politicians, including Andrea Gordillo and Leigh Davis.

Fabian Rivera (’28) is a sophomore from San Antonio, Texas pursuing a double major in Political Science and Biology. He joined Alhambra in the Spring of his freshman year, working on the Berkshire Center for Justice account, and was appointed to the board at the end of that semester. Beyond Alhambra, Fabian serves on the Editorial Board for the Undergraduate Research Journal and is a member of the Badminton Club, the Williams Moot Court team, and the Club Sailing team. He also enjoys hiking, reading, and baking.

Sophie Wu (’28) is a sophomore from Seattle, double-majoring in Computer Science and Economics. She has worked on the Louison House and BAHEC (Berkshire Area Health Education Center) accounts. Outside of Alhambra, she is on the board of CASO (Chinese American Student Organization) and Goodrich Coffee Bar, sings with Ephoria, and works as a TA for computer science. She enjoys baking and reading in her free time.
